La Coa tequilaria

OVerview

New Mexico’s capital, Santa Fe, is known for its Pueblo-style architecture, vibrant art scene and green chili infused food. Located in historic downtown Santa Fe – La Coa Tequilaria needed to set itself apart from the abundance of dining options.

La Coa Tequilaria doesn’t just offer customers a tasty menu, it offers a unique dining experience. From South of the Border-style cuisine to a sumptuous tequila tasting menu.

A Southwest-inspired font, Oaxaca was chosen as a primary font for its influence from the rustic dusty landscape of agave fields. This typeface pairs nicely with Transtat, which offers a visually-pleasing minimalistic contrast to Oaxaca.

The color palette was pulled directly from the Santa Fe landscape. At sunset, the sky turns a fiery orange against the muted blush and tan terrain. The motif was inspired by hand-woven Native American blankets that are synonymous with the Southwest culture.
